1•Dark Matter and Dark Energy:
Approximately 95% of the universe is composed of dark matter and dark energy, yet their exact nature remains unknown. Dark matter is believed to be responsible for the gravitational forces that hold galaxies together, while dark energy is thought to drive the universe's accelerating expansion. Despite extensive research, scientists have yet to directly detect or fully understand these phenomena.
2. Human Embryonic Development:
Quranic Reference:
The Quran describes stages of human development in Surah Al-Mu’minun (23:12-14), with phrases such as "alaqah" (clinging substance) and "mudghah" (chewed-like substance).
Year of Scientific Discovery:
Human embryology began developing scientifically around the 17th century, but detailed understanding of embryonic stages came only in the 20th century, particularly with the invention of microscopes and advancements in cellular biology.
Comparison:
The Quran’s description from the 7th century has parallels with these later scientific observations, though modern embryology provides much more detail.
